Kazu is a massage therapist competent in an array of therapies. He specializes in Shiatsu and Remedial Massage helping treat acute and chronic physical pain and alleviate emotional stress. His journey in the field of massage started when he enrolled at the Massage Schools of Queensland in 2005. He completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage that year. The following year he completed Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies. Kazu’s career began when he started his own massage business called “Kirra Beach Massage” in Coolangatta with his classmate. In coolangatta Kazu had the opportunity to treat professional surfers such as Masatoshi Ohno, Josh Kerr and Asher Pacey.
Unfortunately, his first business wasn’t success so Kazu went on to work at Currumbin Holistic Health and then Correct Body Maintenance at Tugun. In 2008 whilst attending a first aid course he met a Chinese man who had 30 years experience in massage therapy. Eager to learn he began working in one of the Chinese man’s shops called “Miracle Massage” continuing for 4 years to learn more Chinese Massage techniques, improving his skills and gaining valuable career experience. In 2013 he moved to the Sunshine Coast to work as a massage therapist in Maroochydore. Whilst in Maroochydore he had the opportunity to massage Natalie Jenkinson, a former Judo Sydney Olympian. In 2014 Kazu moved back to the Gold Coast establishing his business called “Massage Kazu” at Log Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in Robina, He continues his massage business today at the Centre in Robina. Surfing on the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast is what he enjoys

Christopher Kershaw (Chris)
Dip. Remedial Massage
Our latest team member to start with “Massage Kazu” at Healthstyle Centre Robina. Chris has been a Massage Therapist for over 20 years and a full time Remedial Therapist for the past 8 years, working with Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Doctors. He holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and qualifications in training and assessment. Chris also lectures part time in Massage, at Massage Schools of Qld in Burleigh Heads. He is also on the coaching and medical staff with the Palm Beach Soccer Club mainly looking after the senior men’s National Premier League side, treating the players with massage and injury recovery. He often helps clients get results with recovery from soft tissue injuries, repetitive strain injuries, stress, chronic pain issues, headaches, back pain, neck pain and general health problems. His Remedial Massage treatments include; Deep Tissue Massage techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Connective Tissue, Mobilisation and Myofascial Techniques. He also does Swedish relaxation massage. In his spare time Chris enjoys surfing, running, cycling, soccer, meditation, reading and self study. Chris will initially be working on Mondays at “Massage Kazu”
Dr. ADAM SMITH

Dr. Adam graduated from Macquarie University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic. With his wife Linda and 3 children all embracing the Chiropractic lifestyle, the obvious choice after returning from nearly 8 years living and working in Glasgow, Scotland, was to take on a practice on the sunny Gold Coast. Dr. Adam currently serves on the Board of the Chiropractors Association of Australia as the Board Secretary, and has previously acted as the Vice President of the largest Chiropractic Association in the United Kingdom, the United Chiropractic Association. Having a keen interest in health, fitness, and life experiences Dr Adam has an understanding of many aspects of the exciting life the Gold Coast has for all local residents and those on holidays. This means that he is well placed to help you recover from injury, retain lost health, and maintain the absolute best life you can have! Dr. YUSUKE SAKABE

Dr. Yusuke Sakabe was born and raised in the city of Fukuoka on the island in the southern end of Japan. He came to Australia in 2002, where he studied Chiropractic and Fitness and Human Movement Science. He received a Bachelor’s Degree of Chiropractic Science and a Master’s Degree of Chiropractic from Macquarie University in Sydney.
Dr. Yusuke is a member of Sports Chiropractic Australia and passionate about treating athletes from junior to elite levels in various sports including tennis, golf, baseball, surfing, body building and martial arts. He underwent training of Titleist Performance Institute and Functional Movement Systems, and is specialised in analysing and correcting athletes’ movement and performance dysfunctions. While helping many athletes, he also has been helping all types of people from newborn babies to elderly people to express their maximum health potential.
Dr. Yusuke has been receiving chiropractic care on a regular basis since his early age, as it helped overcoming a sporting injury and maintaining a level of vitality that complemented his active lifestyle. Aside from his passion for helping people, Dr Yusuke loves golf, baseball and cooking.
